Full license texts

Every Ferowen download includes a machine-generated THIRD_PARTY_LICENSES file containing the full license text and copyright notices of every Rust dependency, including the components above and the libraries they depend on. The license texts are also available from each project, for example in its source repository, and on request from legal@enzonic.com.

Servo and SpiderMonkey (MPL-2.0)

The Windows and Linux builds of Ferowen include Servo, an open-source web engine written in Rust and started at Mozilla, and SpiderMonkey, Mozilla's JavaScript engine, through the mozjs crates. Both are licensed under the Mozilla Public License 2.0 (MPL-2.0).

Ferowen uses Servo and SpiderMonkey unmodified, as published on crates.io. Their Source Code Form is available:

This is how Enzonic meets the requirements of section 3.2 of MPL-2.0. The MPL-2.0 applies only to those files; it does not change the license of Ferowen's own code.

WebKit (macOS)

On macOS, Ferowen renders web pages with the WebKit framework built into macOS. Ferowen links against that system framework at run time. It does not modify or redistribute WebKit.

Apple ships WebKit under WebKit's open-source licenses, the GNU Lesser General Public License version 2.1 (LGPL-2.1) and BSD licenses. WebKit's source code and license texts are published by the WebKit project at https://webkit.org.

No Chromium code

Ferowen contains no Chromium, Blink or V8 code on any platform.
