Ferowen Terms of Use and End User License Agreement

Effective: November 8, 2026

This document has two separate parts:

  • Part A: Website Terms of Use covers your use of https://browser.enzonic.com.
  • Part B: End User License Agreement (EULA) covers your use of the Ferowen app.

Both are offered by Enzonic ("Enzonic", "we", "us"). Questions about either part go to legal@enzonic.com.

Part A: Website Terms of Use

A1. Agreeing to these terms

By using browser.enzonic.com (the "Site"), you agree to Part A. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

A2. What the Site is

The Site provides information about Ferowen and serves the app's download files for macOS, Windows and Linux. Downloading the app is free. Your use of the app itself is governed by Part B.

A3. Using the Site

You may browse the Site, link to it and share its pages. You agree not to:

  • break the law or anyone else's rights while using the Site;
  • attack, overload or disrupt the Site, including through denial-of-service attacks or heavy automated requests;
  • try to gain unauthorized access to the Site or the systems behind it, except for good-faith research that follows our Security Policy;
  • tamper with the download files, or offer modified copies of Ferowen as if they came from the Site.

A4. Our content

The text, images and design of the Site are © 2026 Enzonic, all rights reserved, except where marked otherwise. You may quote short passages with a link back to the Site. The Ferowen name and wren logo are covered by our Trademark Guidelines.

A5. Other websites

The Site may link to sites we do not run, such as search providers or Cloudflare. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

A6. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Statement explain how data is handled when you visit the Site. In short, the Site uses no cookies, analytics or third-party scripts, and Cloudflare processes request data to deliver and protect it.

A7. Availability and changes

We may change, suspend or remove the Site, or any part of it, at any time without notice.

A8. No warranty

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent the law allows.

A9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Enzonic is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site. Nothing in Part A limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

A10. Changes to Part A

We may update Part A by posting a new version on the Site with a new effective date. Using the Site after that date means you accept the updated terms.

A11. Governing law

Part A is governed by the laws applicable at Enzonic's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This does not take away any protection you have under the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.

Part B: End User License Agreement (EULA)

B1. Agreeing to this EULA

This EULA is an agreement between you and Enzonic for Ferowen, including any updates we provide (the "Software"). By installing or using the Software, you agree to this EULA. If you do not agree, do not install or use it.

B2. License grant

Ferowen is free. Enzonic grants you a free, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download, install and use the Software on computers you own or control, for any lawful purpose, personal or professional, subject to this EULA.

B3. Ownership

Ferowen is proprietary software, © 2026 Enzonic, all rights reserved. This EULA gives you a license to use the Software; it does not sell you the Software or give you any ownership of it. Any rights not expressly granted are reserved by Enzonic.

The Software includes open-source components that are licensed to you under their own licenses, listed in our Third-Party Notices. Nothing in this EULA limits your rights under those licenses.

B4. Restrictions

You may not:

  • modify the Software and distribute the modified build;
  • use the Ferowen name or the wren logo for any modified build, fork or derivative product;
  • sell, rent, lease or sublicense the Software;
  • remove or change any copyright, trademark or license notices in the Software;
  • reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Software, except where applicable law expressly allows it despite this restriction, or as permitted by our Security Policy for good-faith security research;
  • use the Software to break the law or to violate anyone else's rights.

B5. Content you access is your responsibility

Ferowen displays content from websites and services run by others. Enzonic does not control, review or endorse that content. You are responsible for the sites you visit, the files you download, and following the law and the terms of the sites and services you use.

Ferowen Shield, HTTPS-Only mode and, on macOS, fraudulent website warnings reduce risk, but they do not guarantee that every tracker, unsafe site or harmful file will be blocked.

B6. Third-party services

When you search, your query goes directly to the search provider you chose, under that provider's terms and privacy policy. On macOS, fraudulent website warnings are provided by Apple, and pages are rendered by the WebKit engine built into macOS, which Enzonic does not control. On Windows and Linux, pages are rendered by Servo, an open-source engine developed by third parties that Ferowen includes without modification.

B7. Privacy

The Software sends no data to Enzonic. It has no telemetry, analytics, crash reporting, accounts or sync. Our Privacy Policy explains what is stored on your computer and which network connections the Software makes.

B8. Early-release software

Ferowen is an early release (version 0.2) for macOS, Windows and Linux. It may contain bugs, may behave unexpectedly, and may lose data such as bookmarks, history or open tabs. Features may change or be removed. Keep your own copies of anything important.

The Windows and Linux builds are experimental. They use the Servo engine, and some websites may not work correctly with it. Some features, including private windows, fraudulent website warnings and file downloads, are not yet available in those builds.

This version does not check for updates automatically. Check browser.enzonic.com for new versions, especially security fixes. On Windows and Linux, the web engine is bundled with Ferowen, so engine security fixes reach you only when you install a new version of Ferowen. Enzonic is not obliged to provide updates or support, but any updates we provide are covered by this EULA unless they come with different terms.

B9. No warranty

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, ENZONIC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. ENZONIC DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, SECURE OR UNINTERRUPTED.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranties to be excluded, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.

B10. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, ENZONIC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, REVENUE OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE, EVEN IF ENZONIC WAS TOLD SUCH DAMAGES WERE POSSIBLE.

ENZONIC'S TOTAL LIABILITY UNDER THIS EULA IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID ENZONIC FOR THE SOFTWARE AND USD 50.

Nothing in this EULA limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under applicable law, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

B11. Termination

This EULA lasts until it ends. You can end it at any time by deleting the Software. It ends automatically if you break it. When it ends, you must stop using the Software and delete all copies. Sections B3, B5 and B9 to B15 continue to apply after it ends.

B12. Export

You must follow all export control and sanctions laws that apply to you and to the Software. You may not use, export or re-export the Software where those laws prohibit it.

B13. Changes to this EULA

We may update this EULA. The current version, with its effective date, will always be posted on browser.enzonic.com. Because the Software does not contact Enzonic, we cannot notify you inside the app. If we make a significant change, we will say so on the Site. Using the Software after the new effective date means you accept the updated EULA.

B14. Governing law

This EULA is governed by the laws applicable at Enzonic's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This does not take away any protection you have under the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.

B15. General

This EULA, together with the documents it refers to, is the entire agreement between you and Enzonic about the Software. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we do not enforce a term right away, we have not waived it. You may not transfer this EULA. Enzonic may transfer it to a successor.
